The Illiana JV Crossover arrives with some history already attached.
Crown Point White and Carmel Blue meet again a week after a two-goal game. Momentum gets another opportunity against Munster White after surrendering eight goals last Saturday. Bishop Noll Blue enters with three consecutive listed wins, while Columbus brings a recent victory over Carmel Blue into a weekend spent entirely against Northwest Indiana opponents.
Across 16 games at the Kube Sports Complex and Midwest Training & Ice Center, eight JV teams will get a clearer picture of how they compare.
Bishop Noll Blue has put together an encouraging run heading into the crossover, beating Angola 6–1, Munster White 7–3 and Northeast Mavericks 5–0 in its three most recent listed results.
That is an 18–4 scoring advantage across three wins, with the latest ending in a shutout. Four games this weekend will provide a broader test of that combination of offensive production and defensive results.
Hayden Harding has four goals and three assists in four recorded appearances. Phoenix Whittenburg has added three goals and an assist in three appearances, while Mason Lodberg has a goal and three assists in three games.
Noll opens against Columbus before facing Momentum later Saturday. Sunday brings Westfield and Carmel Blue, giving the Blue four different opponents against which to test their recent form.

Crown Point White’s recent results show how quickly a weekend can change. On October 10, it beat Carmel Blue 3–1 but also suffered a 6–0 loss to South Stars White.
Saturday’s meeting with Carmel Blue offers an immediate comparison with that first result. Can Crown Point repeat the performance, or can Carmel find more offense the second time around?
Avram Brazzale is a player to watch for Crown Point, with four goals and an assist in three recorded games. Collin Miller has three points in two appearances, and Taylor Fugate has scored twice in two games.
Crown Point has four opportunities this weekend to build on the Carmel victory and respond to the South Stars shutout.
For Carmel Blue, the crossover follows Friday’s home game against HSE JV. Five games in three days create a demanding stretch, including Saturday’s late rematch with Crown Point.

Columbus JV’s most recent listed result was a 3–2 victory over Carmel Blue on October 3. Its preceding four listed games included wins over the Piedmont Predators and Delco Phantoms, along with shutout losses to the Shaha Panthers and Pittsburgh Vengeance.
That gives Columbus experience on both sides of low-scoring games entering the crossover.
Its recorded player statistics cover just one game, so they do not provide a complete picture of the team’s offense. They do show goals from Quinten Grider, Blake Schneider and Mollie Merritt, with Carter Kareus recording an assist. Gabriel Marsh’s listed appearance includes 18 saves on 20 shots.
After the Crown Point opener and Saturday morning’s meeting with Bishop Noll, Columbus finishes against Munster White and Lake Central White. Its four-game schedule offers a useful comparison against several Northwest Indiana programs.

Munster White’s last two listed games produced sharply different outcomes: an 8–3 win over Momentum followed by a 7–0 loss to DePaul Prep.
Sunday brings a rematch with Momentum, creating one of the crossover’s clearest opportunities to measure an adjustment. Momentum will need to reduce the damage from their previous meeting; Munster will look to reproduce its offensive success.
Whether Munster can produce consistently across four games is a more useful question than what either extreme from last weekend says on its own.
Lake Central White also comes in with contrasting results, having beaten Northeast Mavericks 9–1 and lost to Clearwater Ice Storm 4–1 on October 10. The crossover gives Lake Central four more opportunities to establish a consistent level of play.
Westfield follows a 3–2 victory over HSE JV and a 5–0 loss to Angola. Its weekend includes two games at each crossover venue, beginning against Munster White on Saturday morning and ending against Lake Central White on Sunday afternoon.

Beyond the crossover, Saturday’s Adams–Penn Gold matchup carries both an offensive storyline and a family connection.
Penn scored 29 goals across three wins last weekend. Jaxon Daigle contributed five goals and seven assists, bringing his total through five games to a team-leading 15 points.
The production extends beyond Daigle. Grady Harrell has eight goals and 11 points, Aidan Riem has seven goals and 11 points, and Mason Maurer has 10 points through five games.
Now Daigle faces Adams, coached by his father, Sylvain “Sly” Daigle. Their shared hockey background becomes a competitive subplot Saturday, with Penn trying to sustain an attack that has received contributions from several players.
“Our line was just clicking,” Jaxon said in THE FINAL.’s recent profile.
Adams will try to interrupt that chemistry.
Adams then plays twice Sunday. Lake Central visits in the morning before Bishop Noll arrives in the afternoon. Elsewhere in the area, St. Joe faces Marian-Riley on Saturday and Munster Red on Sunday.

Friday brings HSE A to Carmel Gold. HSE enters after a 3–1 win over Culver A, while Carmel’s latest completed listed game was a 4–1 loss to New Trier Blue.
Carmel then travels to Evansville for Saturday evening and Sunday morning games. The quick turnaround between those two meetings will give both teams an immediate opportunity to respond to what happens in the opener.
Evansville begins its own three-game home weekend against Trinity on Friday.

Zionsville and HSE B meet again Saturday after Zionsville’s 3–2 win last Sunday. A one-goal result gives that rematch an obvious point of interest: whether HSE B can reverse the outcome on home ice.
Columbus visits Westfield, while South Stars White JV takes on HSE JV later Saturday at the Fuel Tank.
In Fort Wayne, Carroll faces Homestead before the Vipers meet the Leo Lions at PSM Icehouse. South Stars Red supplies Sunday’s Ohio trip, visiting Miami B at Goggin Ice Center after wins over Brebeuf and Bloomington last weekend.
